We had a great adventure in Cancun Mexico with 3 other couples. We stayed in a 5 star hotel arranged by Glen Overton who is in the Hotel business for about a quarter of the usual price.

Here's the view from our room! That Carribean water is about as clear as it gets.

This is
Chichenitza, the ancient Mayan ruin. Those guys were serious builders!
On this tee shot Glee hit his drive into the jungle so we appealed to the trees to kick it out which they did. Then Paul did the same thing and we called for help again, and this is where their two balls ended up!

This course at Moon Palace was about the hardest one I have played. Our foursome played this par 3 hole 4 times for a total of 18 or 20 tee shots, and no one ever hit the green!

The approach to this par 5 green is right over the top of that grove of trees.

The jungel was alive with scary critters. We found that if we were not on the fairway we were lost!

We had a great time returning to St. George with our "fun couples" friends for a nice weekend of golf. This is the same hole that Jerry got his hole-in-one 2 weeks earlier. My shot was about 50 times farther from the hole than his, but still really good! (two and a half feet)
Everyon loved the San Hollow course.

Beautiful green, beautiful rocks, beautiful rocks, beautiful girls!

Steve Lapray at the coral Canyon signature hole. He put this within 2 feet of the hole, but dick Thomas was even closer!

This week we have had truckloads of grandkids visiting.
What could be any more fun than that?

McKay and I had a nice ride in balmy weather.

We saw plenty of wildlife.
Jerry, would you like us to tie one of these up for you?

Introducing the newest member of our family- "Mysti". Short for "Mystical Jazzadee". She is a 14 year-old Arabian, Lacy's niece. She's much smaller than Lacy, but is very tough and seems to have a nice temperament. She is absolutely white. the only way to tell her fom any othe white horse is taht she ahs a black right front hoof and a small scar on her throat. I hope that everyone likes her.
Jerry and I just returned from having a great time playing golf for 3 days at St. George. This is the fabulous new Sand Holow course at the base of the sand dunes by Hurricane. What a spectacular place!

Here's Jerry taking the ball out of the hole from his hole-in-one on the 191 yard 15th hole at Sand Hollow. It was his first! Congratulations Jerry!
Another of his life's goals has now been accomplished!

Glen Overton and I were witnesses. The marshall happened to be there too. (he took this picture for us). He said it was a "good shot". I think that may have been the understatement of the week!

Looking back @ the tee. 191 yards across a very scary chasm!

This weekend project was pruning overgrown trees. JJ and David came and did a great job. We tried our old gas chain saw that had lots of power but the chain was dull. It was a nightmare, then we borrowed Terry's new elctric saw that was not nearly as powerful, but had a new sharp chain. the difference was amazing! I guess that goes along with Stephen Covey's principle "take time to sharpen the saw."

David got some javelin throwing practice.
